Obituary
Ronald L. "R.L." Powell, 45, Waynetown, went home to be with the Lord 11:00 PM Friday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He had been a truck driver, volunteered at the Grace and Mercy food pantry, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushrooming.
He was born July 31, 1968 in Crawfordsville.
Survivors include his parents, Charles & Pam Thomas of Crawfordsville, his children, Bartholomew (Whitney) Powell of Crawfordsville, Nikhea Stockton of Homa, LA, KeighAhna Powell of Jacksonville, FL, brothers, Charles Thomas, Jr. (Beth) of New Ross, Donald Powell of Linnsburg, sister, Amber Thomas of Crawfordsville, grandchildren Nathaniel, Conner, Kaitlyn and Damien Powell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-5 PM Thursday at Grace and Mercy Ministries followed by a brief service. A dinner will be served following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
