Rosalee I. Alvarez, 32, of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday morning, April 12, 2018.

Rosalee was born Jan. 2, 1986, at Chicago, Illinois, to Antonio and Irma Alvarez.

She attended Crawfordsville High School and afterward worked for the Animal Welfare League for several years. Rosalee was a creative and artistic soul who loved animals and photography. She spent much of her time helping others and tending to the animals at the shelter in Crawfordsville.

Rosalee is survived by her parents, Antonio and Irma Alvarez of Crawfordsville; sister Elvira Burke of Lafayette; brother-in-law Andrew Burke of Lafayette; niece Bianca Burke; and nephew Braylon Burke.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with minister Josef Lee officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, April 20 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North.
