Roy Eugene Ingram passed away this morning at Ben Hur Nursing Home

after a short bout with cancer.



He was born in New Ross In. to Roy and Mildred Marie(Hyten) Ingram.

Mr. Ingram graduating from Darlington High School. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1952 where he was assigned to Airbourne Early Warning Squadron 3 Wing at the naval base in Guam, where he served with Distinguished and Decorated duty until his Discharge in 1956.

Upon his return home from Korean War Theatre , Mr. Ingram worked in the insurance business until his retirement with Mutual of Omaha. again with distinguished service.

Mr. Ingram's joys and hobbies were fishing and following the Indiana Pacers from their very start as well as playing the sport of basketball.

He married the love of his life on April 3, 1954 Patricia Caplinger. She survives.

He is also survived by his son Shannon(Deb) Ingram Crawfordsville, In, grandsons
Sasha and Nicholas Ingram both of Crawfordsville, In, brothers Dave(Becky) Ingram Crawfordsville, In, John(Dee) Ingram Texas, sisters Carole(Frank) Whitaker Crawfordsville, In, Marge Herron Pittsboro, In, Ruth Ann Shelbyville, In and many nieces and nephews.



He will be missed by many close friends and family.

A memorial service will take place 2:00pm Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home
