Ruby Howard, 87 of Crawfordsville passed away Monday at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville.

She was born March 26, 1930 in Leslie County, Kentucky to Jim and Sally Lewis Day.    Ruby was a member of the Church of Christ and loved cooking, gardening and her family.

On November 15, 1958 she married James Howard, he survives.  Also surviving are her children Wendell (Lana) Howard of Noblesville, Star (Gary) Linn of Crawfordsville and Wesley (Pam) Howard of Darlington. She has a sister Sarah Eaton of London, KY as well as six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Ruby was preceded in death by her brothers Rusey, Ira, Johnny, Felix & Burgoyne as well as sisters Ella, Polly, Minerva and Mally.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with her Nephew Jim Howard officiating.  Interment will be in the Mace Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 Friday.
