Obituary
Ruel S. Bottorff, 85, passed away Thursday, June 22, at Ben Hur Nursing Home. He was born August 20, 1920 at Crawfordsville to Albert & Estelle Elmore Bottorff. He attended Crawfordsville Schools.
Mr. Bottorff was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He worked at the Crawfordsville Light Plant, then retired from RR Donnelly's.
He is survived by daughters Frankie (Mike) Harwood and Debbie (Terry) Riddle of Crawfordsville, and Ellie (Joel) Thompson of Bainbridge & a brother Noel (Pete) Bottorff. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. On grandson Michael Dillman is deceased. Also preceding him in death were two brothers Therell (Dutch) & Clarence (Doc) Bottorff, and a sister Opal Payne.
Private family services will be conducted Monday with Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
