Russell Clifford Miller, 85, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday afternoon at home.
He was retired from R.R. Donnelley's in management and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Memberships included Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church where he was an elder and a deacon, Crawfordsville town council, Boy Scout Master, Chairman of Sugar Creek Canoe Race, Elks and volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels.
He received a bachelor's degree from Indiana University.
Born April 13, 1926, in Aurora, Ind., he was the son of George and Nelle (McKenzie) Miller. He married Patricia A. Smith on Sept. 7, 1952. She passed away Sept. 11, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas M. Miller of Baton Rouge, La., and Samuel W. Miller of Wilmington, N.C.; a daughter, Leslie S. Morgan of Fishers; and five grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Van Nuys officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Grant Avenue, at a later date. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., Monday, at the church.
