Obituary
Ruth Childress, 97, Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday April 18, 2013 at Williamsburg Health Center.
She was born on April 5, 1916 in Lincolnville, IN to Charles and Cornith Small. She was an active member of W.C.T.U. and held several offices. She was retired from Wabash College as a cook.
She married Paul Childress and he preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Paula Kay Childress of Largo, FL. Grandchildren, Cindy Jane of Largo, FL and Jennifer Myers of Taves, FL. Also surviving are three great grandchildren, Noah, Ashley and Jonah.
She is preceded in death by brothers, Phillip Rex and Ronald Keith.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Tuesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Mary Ann Freeman officiating. A private burial will take place at The Odd Fellows Cemetery in Converse, IN. Friends may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
