Ruth Virginia Todd Quigg passed away at 11:35pm Sunday August 2, 2009 at St. Clare Medical Center in Crawfordsville.

Born August 13, 1924 in Tippecanoe County to Omer and Mary Grubb Todd. Mrs. Quigg graduated from New Richmond High School in 1941 and Spencerian Business College of Louisville, KY. On July 13, 1944 at Waynetown, Indiana she married Francis Karl Quigg, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Quigg was a fifty year member and past matron of the New Richmond Order of The Eastern Star. She was also a fifty year member and past president of Montgomery County Extension Homemakers. She was a member of the Darlington United Methodist Church for over forty years.

Surviving family members include two sons, Charlie (Lynda) and Gary of Crawfordsville, a daughter, Linda Quigg Law, five grandchildren Lisa (David) Long, Chadd Quigg, Mitchell (De-De) Groves, Patrick (Moesha) Resigno all of Crawfordsville, David (Heather) Beistel of New Market, Charlie (Hermoni) Bates, Okinawa and Twelve great grandchildren. A daughter, Jeanne, preceded Mrs. Quigg in death.

Friends may call at Hunt & Son Funeral Home from 12-2pm Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday with Rev. Mike Parks officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Darlington. In lieu of flowers, it was Mrs. Quigg's wish that family and friends donate to the charity of their choice.
