Obituary
Samuel L. Smith, 51, of Lebanon and formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away at 4:42 p.m. Saturday at Witham Hospital in Lebanon.
Mr. Smith was born Dec. 18, 1956 in Crawfordsville to Billy and Joanne Taylor Smith.
He was a 1975 graduate of Southmont High School. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. from 1977 to 1981. He was a crane operator/supervisor at Performance Master in Crawfordsville.
He is survived by his mother; daughters, Suzanna (Dustin Mils) Smith of Ladoga and Stephanie Smith of New Market; son, Shaun Smith of Ladoga; companion, Stephanie Ross of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Tyler Coon, Harlie Owens and Skylene Miles; and sister, Sandy Jones.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Garver.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 12 at Shades State Park Hickory Shelter House from 5-7pm with a memorial service at 6:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to 4-H.
