Obituary
Sandra Sue Cassity, 73, of Rockville and formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Thursday at Union Hospital in Clinton.
Mrs. Cassity was born July 23, 1937 in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Martin and Donna (Taylor) Haun.
She was married to Bud Cassity. He passed away July 10, 1986. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Craig (Linda) Cassity of Fishers; daughters, Stacy (Larry) Verhey of Waynetown and Shelly (Guy) Gregg of Rockville; sisters, Sharon Wilburn of Greenfield and Diane Burgen of Burlington; special friends, Pam Bryant and Letha Shoaf; three grandchildren, David (Danielle), Daniel (Dareth) and Jacob Gregg; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Pastor Ed Fisher will officiate.
Memorial contributions can be made to the local food pantry, church or animal welfare organization.
