Sandra Kay Simpson, 78, passed away on May 6, 2020.

Her reason for living was to be a loving mother to her two children, which were the love of her life; her son, Audie L. Simpson and her daughter, Tammy Kay Simpson and her precious poodle, Fe Fe.

Sandy worked at Sommer Metal Craft where she retired from in 2011.  She graduated from CHS in 1959.

Sandy married Howard L. Simpson (Butch) in 1961.  Howard Simpson passed away in 2015.  Also preceding in death are her parents, Thomas Ralph and Mildred Catherine Bassett.  She is survived by her daughter, Tamela Kay Simpson; her son, Audie L. Simpson (Michelle); her sister, Shirley Ann Largent; her niece, Elisha (Largent) Lamar; and sister-in-law, Karen Taylor.  She also has three grandchildren; Ian, Kenzie and Eleri Vice and two grandchildren, Oliver Vice and Remley Perry.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no services.  However, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.

She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
