Obituary
Sara Jane Adams, 69, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday at Ben Hur Nursing Home.
She was born July 30, 1941 in Wingate. She is the daughter of Walter and Matie (Knee) Willhite.
She married Curtis Adams on Jan. 19, 1974. They were married for 34 years. He passed away on Aug. 5, 2008.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Plastenes for 10 years. She was a member of the Oak Hill Tabernacle.
She is survived by a son, Mike (Tracy) McGuire of Ladoga; daughters, Jeanette (Rick) Cook and Sheila (Steve) Stewart, both of Crawfordsville; brother, Walter L. Willhite of Homedale, Idaho; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Whitacre will officiate. Burial will be at Willhite Cemetery near Wingate.
Friends and family can pay their respects from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
