Sharon Doreen Washington, age 82, passed away peacefully in Crawfordsville, IN on January 16, 2021 after prolonged declining health. Sharon was born in Polk Township, MO to Paul C Burk and Gertrude L Wilhelm. She married Winfred "George" Washington who preceded her in death in 2017.

Sharon retired from Raybestos after 40 years of dedicated service. Prior to her declining health she enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, spending time in the sun, and warm temperatures in general. It was a rare day when she could not be found in shorts and a tank-top no matter what time of year.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Deborah Washington, sister Vernece (Jimmie) Perkins, and brother Paul Burk Jr. She is survived by son Clifford (Ivy) Washington, grandchildren Chris (Tara) Washington, Megan (Nick) Wilson, and Jason (Amanda) Washington, and 6 great grandsons.

Sharon will be cremated according to her wishes, and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
