teven Sanders of Crawfordsville died Wednesday at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was 55.
Mr. Sandes was a civil engineer. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a graduate of Texas A & M University.
He was born April 27, 1956, at El Paso, Texas, to Fred Ray and Kathryn (Lichtenberger) Sanders. He married Diane Martin on Oct. 2, 2010. She survives.
Other survivors include: his mother, Kathryn Sanders of Grapeland, Texas; sons, Tyler Barrett Sanders and Steven Logan Sanders, both of Riverton, Ill.; brother Barrett Sanders of Elkhart, Texas; and sisters, Leilani Clark of Pflugerville, Texas, and Ayesha Jeffries of Loveland, Colo.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., with the Rev. Loren Stephens officiating. Burial will be at Guiceland Cemetery, Grapeland, Texas, at a later date. Friends may call noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
