Sue Mefford Hamm Locker, 84 of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday, November 12 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville.

She was born October 22, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY to Gordon & Virginia Freeman Mefford.  Sue was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a part of the Judson Sunday School class for over 50 years. She was also a Sunday school teacher on the Bible school and Christian Education teams.   She was the past president of the Psi Iota Xi sorority.

Sue retired from Crawfordsville Schools in 1999 after serving as a 6th grade teacher for many years. In her retirement, she enjoyed playing Golf and bridge.

Sue was married to Donald Hamm, who preceded her in death in 2005. She married Bill Locker in April 2007, he survives.

Her children Betsy Hamm, Mark Hamm, and Matt (Carolina) Locker, as well as 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her grandson Tommy Hamm and Brother Mark Mefford.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, November 16, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Hudson officiating.  Visitation will be from 12-3 pm at the church.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
