Obituary

Terri (McBee) Keffer, 58, of Crawfordsville, passed away at
8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7 in her home after a battle with cancer.
She was born Sept. 13, 1954, to Walter H. and Ellen (Mahoy)
McBee.
She is survived by husband John; daughter KC Keffer
Kinder (Chisolm) of Oklahoma City, Okla.; son Colt of Omaha,
Neb.; grandchildren, Charli and Calin Kinder; father and
step-mother, Walter and Betty McBee; brother Dean McBee
of Darlington; sister Lori McBee Greavu (John) of Charleston,
S.C. and her three kids, Mackenzi, Chandler and Christian.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen McBee.
After graduation from North Montgomery High School, she
attended Indiana Business College. Terri was married to John
Keffer on Sept. 20, 1975. She was a member of the Darlington
Legion Women's Auxiliary, worked at Rocky Ridge Golf
Course and the Indiana Beef Cattlemen's Association, whose
junior organization awarded her with the 2005 Appreciation
Award. John and Terri owned and operated Oakbrook Farms,
a livestock custom fitting service. She was a major influence
in many young livestock enthusiasts' lives and a supporter
of anyone in the purebred cattle industry. Many will miss her
infectious laugh and guidance.

Her memorial will be Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Linden
United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from noon to
2 p.m., memorial at 2 p.m., followed with a meal provided by
the Darlington Legion Women's Auxiliary at Legion Post 302.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marie Canine
Cancer Center, 1706 Lafayette Road, Crawfordsville, In
47933 or the House of Hope — a non- profit Bible Teaching
Mission, 5525 W. US Hwy 40, Brazil, IN 47834 in memory of
Terri Keffer.
