Theresa Ann Davidson, 91, passed away on Wednesday November 20 th , 2019 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville.
She was born on September 3 rd , 1928 in Michigan to Harold and Helen (Brennan) Runyon. After graduating from Ladywood High School in Indianapolis in 1945, Terri went on to nurses training at General Hospital in Indianapolis. During which she met and married Keith Eric Davidson on January 26 th 1952 and began their life together on the family farm in New Ross, Indiana. After being stationed in England for two years with the Army, they returned to the family farm until 1977 when they moved to Lake Holiday, Indiana.
Despite being busy with a growing family and the farm, Terri volunteered her time at the Christian Nursing Service, the Dr. Mary Ludwig Well Baby Clinic, Southmont High School student clinic, and Foreign Exchange Youth for Understanding Program. She was an active member of St. Bernard's Catholic church and served on the parish council board, taught CCD classes, and helped direct the Youth Guitar Group.
Terri is survived by her three children; Leah A. (David) Sulc of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Mary E. (Chris) Robertson of Mishawaka, Indiana; and Donald J. (Anita) Davidson of Gurnee, Illinois. In addition, she leaves behind six grandchildren; Jason (Erin) Sulc of Madison, Alabama, Katie Sulc, Shelby (Justin) Lewis, Nathan (Kaitlyn) Sulc all of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Nichole (William) Harju of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Paige Davidson of Santa Monica, California. Terri enjoyed her nine great grand-children as well.
Terri was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Keith; her parents; sister, Jackie Hession; brothers, Ted and Ron Runyon; son-in-law, Chris Robertson; and three infant children.
Terri enjoyed various card clubs, St. Bernard's Family Campers group, volunteered at Culver hospital as a pink lady and enjoyed Antique Study Club. She and Keith were passionate about Irish Dancing in Bradenton Beach, Florida and taught English to Cuban families for citizenship. In their retirement, they were honored to meet the pope in Rome, Italy, and traveled to Costa Rica and throughout America.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 29 th , 2019 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1306 East Main Street, Crawfordsville, Indiana. Visitation will be at the church from 11-1 pm, followed by a mass at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
