Thomas Keith Kelsey (Tom, Tommy)57, of Waveland, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020

He was involved in an accident near Lake Holiday.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Tommy Kelsey's residence (Lake Holiday) on June 6th at 5 pm. Tom wished to be cremated. Those arrangements have been made with Hunt & Son. A private ceremony to be held at a later date.

Tom was born on January 21st, 1963, In Lebanon, Indiana. He graduated from Southmont High School, class of 1981.

Tom was married to Cynthia Kelsey (Reddish) for 13 years, they had 3 wonderful boys together.

Tom was employed at HC/Alcoa for 15 years and had learned many trades throughout his life. At the time of his passing, he was employed at Nucor Steel, where he devoted the last 17 years of his life.

Tom was a simple man, who loved his family fiercely, including the countless lifelong friendships he cherished so deeply. He adored his three boys and was so very proud of the outstanding Men they are today.

He loved God, ATV's, Every single moment he spent outdoors. He loved a cold a Busch light, open fire, music & mushroom hunting with his two buddies, Keith and little Thomas. Tom loved antiques and the stories behind them. He lived for this simple life and was loved by anyone who knew him… if you didn't, he didn't care. He was as quick to forgive as he was to make you laugh.

He understood life far beyond his years. He gave life lessons, even when he didn't realize It.. as many would say, he was full of the most useful useless information… Anyone that has talked to Tom, has walked away knowing something they didn't before.

He loved his property and his beautiful companion DOG.

Tom is survived by siblings, Dave (Suzie) Kelsey, Marvin (Nettie) Kelsey, Martin (Becky) Kelsey, Dianna Kelsey, Patty (Billy) Meithe.

His children, Thomas(Erin Sewell) Kelsey, Keith (Kristie) Kelsey, Steven Kelsey.

His two grandchildren Little Thomas and Emma June, whom he loved more than life itself.

He had many nieces, nephews, cousins, friendships, and even a bonus son Josh Dittmer.

Tom was preceded in death by both his mother and father, Clyde (Thomas) & Eulala Kelsey. As well as two nephews Josh Kelsey & Justin Kelsey.

Anyone who wishes to send flowers may send them to Hunt & Son.

Tom would have wanted us to mention that this was not a COVID-19 death.
