Tom Ramie, 63, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.

He was born Feb. 16, 1954, at Ogdenburg, New York, to Charles and Gertrude (Doyle) Ramie. He married Deb Swisher on Oct. 17, 1987, and she survives.

He worked for Ingress Plastene for many years and retired from B &L Engineering. His memberships included the Moose #6 and American Legion #72.

Other survivors include: children, Nikolas (Elise) Ramie of Crawfordsville, Sandi (Dude) Ingram of Crawfordsville, Brook Ramie Scott LaFoutain of Tennessee and Tracy Ramie of Crawfordsville; siblings, Tim and Marcia Ramie of Waynetown, Pete and Donna Ramie of Goshen, Mark Ramie of Texas and Robbie and Dale Dexter of West Lebanon; grandchildren, Kalea, Makaya, Jordan, Arabella, Dalen, Beau, Oli and Toby; great-grandchild Alyssa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; and grandson Kaleb.

He will be missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 2-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Moose Lodge, Crawfordsville.
