Trudy Ann Booher – May 31, 1952 – December 22,2016

Following a 15 month battle with multiple myloma, Trudy Ann (Knox) Booher, of Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family on December 22, 2016.

Born on May 31, 1952, Trudy was the daughter of the late Calvin (Jim) and Phyllis (Bo) Knox. Raised in the area, she graduated from Crawfordsville High School. Trudy was married to Tim Booher, of Crawfordsville, for 28 years. He survives.

From her years at Guiding Light Daycare, to her 13 years with the Department of Family Services, Trudy dedicated much of her life to loving and caring for the children of Montgomery County. For the past decade, you could see her smiling face behind the counter at CVS as well.

This hardworking mother kept very busy with her family, but in her free time, she enjoyed bunco, volleyball and the occasional porch party with good friends.

Trudy was the proud parent of Megan (Dustin) Harshbarger, and Meemaw to Farrah Harshbarger. She is also survived by her sister Jenni Knox of Indianapolis.

Hunt and Son Funeral Home will host a celebration of life on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 10:00am-12:00pm, with services beginning at noon. Graveside services will be held at her final resting place in Oak Hill Cemetery North.
