Virginia Burbrink

Virginia Lee “Ginny” Hose Burbrink, 89, passed away September 7, 2026 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. She was born April 4, 1937 in Crawfordsville to Joseph and Pauline (Sawyer) Hose. She was raised by her grandmother, Laura G. Hose, from the age of 5, after her mother’s passing.

She married Paul R. Burbrink in June of 1962 and he passed in May of 2013. She was a 1955 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and worked as a secretary in the chemistry department at Purdue University. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and her hobbies included playing cards, reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children; Susan (Brian) Jacobs of Pendelton, IN, MaryAnne (Eric) Personett of Darlington, IN, James (Kathy) of Burbrink of Indianapolis and Jennifer (Larry) Lynch of Indianapolis. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Benjamin (Emily) Personett, Hayley (AJ) Spidel, Zachary (Kayla) Personett, Chandler Burbrink, Austin (Malorie) Burbrink, Meadow Burbrink, Elizabeth Lynch, Abby Jacobs and Darcy Jacobs along with 12 great grandchildren; sibling, Marie Bennett. She is preceded in death by her husband, and a sister, Joan Baugh.

Private family services will be held Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
