Obituary
Virginia R. Dewey, 82, Crawfordsville, passed away 10:44 PM Monday at St. Clare Medical Center.
Mrs. Dewey was a homemaker and was educated at New Ross and Mace Schools. She was born March 12, 1924 in rural Montgomery County to Ray Harris and Nelly Jones Harris. On August 18, 1939 she married Wesley Waldon Dewey. He passed away on July 17, 1975.
Survivors include two sons, Michael of Waveland and Wesley of Crawfordsville, a daughter, Sharon K. (Lloyd) Perry of New Ross and one sister, Kim Dewey of Lebanon. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday May 18th in the funeral home with Rev. Layton Sparks officiating. Calling will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
