Obituary
Virginia P. Ronco, 87, of Crawfordsville passed away at 10:46 p.m., Wednesday, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 4, 1923, in Crab Orchard, Ky., she was the daughter of Joshua Wesley and Jalia (Rector) Kidd. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School and later married Anzelmo James Ronco who is deceased.
She was a homemaker who belonged to St. Bernard's Catholic Church and had been active with the American Diabetes Association.
Survivors include a son, Matthew (Carolyn) Ronco of Romney; a daughter, Maria (Joe) Vannice of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and three sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Father Dennis Faker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Avenue.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
