Virginia Moore Shadle of Crawfordsville died at 12:35 p.m.
Monday in her home. She was 61.
Mrs. Shadle worked for the Montgomery County Chapter of
American Red Cross, was a leader and day camp staff member
for Rock River Council of Camp Fire Boys and Girls, and
helped her husband on their farm.
She was a member of First Church of Nazarene, where
she was on the church board. She was a 1967 graduate of
Crawfordsville High School and attended North Central College
at Naperville, Ill.
She was born Oct. 26, 1949, at Highland Park, Mich., to John
and Ruth Martin Moore. She married David Shadle in 1991. He
survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Erin (Reid Priedhorsky) Tatge
of Cambridge, Mass., and Sara (Kevin) McCarty of Crawfordsville;
a stepson, Jeremy (Jennifer) Shadle of Crawfordsvlle;
a brother, Raoul Moore of Crawfordsville; and a sister, Dian
Moore of Crawfordsville.
Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in
Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., with the Rev.
Mike Uhl officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
