Obituary
Virginia L. Shubert, 90, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday at Franciscan-St. Elizabeth Health.
She was born on November 8, 1923 in Mt.Sterling, Kentucky to Edward and Flossie (Pain) Curran. She graduated from Waynetown High School and was a member of Smartsburg Christian Church. She had worked for Raybestos for over 30 years.
She married Guy Shubert who preceded her in death on June 13, 2010.
Survivors include son, Mike (Jill) Shubert of Crawfordsville, grandchildren, Shelly (Jay) Harris and Jennifer (Scott) Surber, both of Crawfordsville, Greg (Tina) Shubert and Angela (Mike) Smith, both of Kentucky. In addition 10 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren survive.
Also preceding her in death are two sons, Louie and Ronnie as well as several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Smartsburg Christian Church.
