Wanda L. Townsend, 82, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday at Ben Hur Nursing Home.

She was born June 3, 1935 in Parkers Lake, KY to Ralston and Linnie (Vanover) Perkins and was a homemaker.  She married Donnie Townsend and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Deborah (Albert) Bickel, Daryl (Connie) Townsend, Donna Morriss (Frank Heide), Denise Farrell and Doreen (Robbin) Sheets.  Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.  A son, Dale preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be 3:00 Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:30. Entombment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
