Waneta P. Nichols, 93, passed away Saturday at The
Lane House.
She attended New Ross schools. She was a homemaker
and assisted her husband on the farm. She had been a
member of Providence Christian Church.
Born Jan. 30, 1921, in Montgomery County, to Edgar and
Carrie (Self) Peterson. She married Charles E. Nichols on
Aug. 2, 1937. He passed on March 24, 2007.
Survivors include her children, Larry (Judy) Nichols of
Crawfordsville, Rusty (Pat) Nichols of Brownsburg, Mary
(Sonny) Reed of New Ross, Karen Harshbarger of Crawfordsville
and Craig "Butch" (Diana) of Crawfordsville. In addition,
13 grandchildren; 20 great -grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren survive.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday
at Pisgah Cemetery. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday
at Hunt and Son Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County or to a
charity of the donor's choosing.
