Obituary

Waneta Pearl Brown Runyon Thomas, 94,
Crawfordsville, died Thursday evening in her
home.
Thomas had been a seamstress for JC
Penney's and Goodmans.
She was a member of Trinity United
Methodist Church. She graduated from New
Ross High School.
She was born Jan. 6, 1916, in New Ross, to Willie A. Brown
and Esther (Gray) Brown. She married Loyal Runyon Sept. 23,
1933. He died. She then married Clifford Thomas on Jan. 14,
1987. He also died.
Survivors include daughter Sandra (Dick) Davis, of Crawfordsville;
stepchildren Patsy Warren, of Crawfordsville, and Bill
Thomas, of Florida; nine grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren;
21 great grandchildren; 22 step great grandchildren; and
two step great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands; daughter Monna
Brewer and her husband, Ed; sister Lois Harvey and her
husband Glen; and step daughter Judy Vaught.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Hunt
& Son Funeral Home with Rev. Daryl Gilbert officiating. Burial
will be at New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday
at the funeral home.
