Warren L. Gann of Crawfordsville died on Friday August 28, 2015 in an accidental shooting. He was 72. He was born July 20, 1943 in Sterling Colorado. He married Lynn Ann Brown and together they had two children, Mark and Shane. They have been together for 45 years this month. Warren was retired from truck driving and sales. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and Quarter Horse Racing Association (QHRA). Warren was a unique soul. He was involved with horses for the past fifty years, from exercising them to being a jockey to later being and owner and training winning barrel horses. He enjoyed helping kids and the less experienced to learn more about their horses and become better riders. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the horse community. Warren is survived by his spouse Lynn Gann, two sons Mark and Shane Gann, two granddaughters Josie and Sade Gann, one grandson Wesley Gann, two sisters Wilma Smoker and Betty Foster, and two brothers Jim and Gerry Gann.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday September 12, 2015 from 11am-3pm at the Lake Holiday Clubhouse, 5000 S. 400 W, Crawfordsville.
