Wesley "Mick" McDaniel, 63, passed away on August 8, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on July 13, 1962, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Mick lived a life marked by deep family connections and cherished moments.

He was the beloved father of Myles McDaniel and Heather McDaniel. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Zachary McDaniel, Austin Blue, and Shakira Blue. Mick also shared a close bond with his sisters, Janet Wendall and Kimberly (Gary) Lamb. He was a proud uncle to Jennifer O'Neal, Krystle Graham, Ivy Lamb, and Adam McDaniel-Wendall. His extended family includes five great-nieces, five great-nephews, and six great-great-nieces and nephews.

Mick was preceded in death by his parents, Jack K. McDaniel Sr. and Margaret Joann McDaniel; his brother Jack K. McDaniel Jr.; his sister Barbara McDaniel; and his brother Matthew McDaniel.
