Obituary

Wilfred "Tom" Kelsey, 93, passed away at University Heights nursing home on Sunday, October 26th, 2014.

Born December 14th, 1920 in Colfax Indiana to his parents, Opal and Stanley Kelsey. He lived in Crawfordsville all his adult life. Tom was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corp as a reconnaissance photographer while stationed in the Philippines. Tom worked his entire career, 45 years, at R. R. Donnelley's & Son as a photographer until retiring in 1985. Tom was very active in his church, attending Christ United Methodist on east Main St. in Crawfordsville. He was also a member of the Masons. What Tom enjoyed most was spending time with family and friends and swapping stories with them. Earlier in life Tom enjoyed boating, water skiing, pitching horseshoes, and dabbling in oil painting.

Survivors include his three children, Carolyn, Paul, and John, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and his sister, Mary Ellen Marley. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Edith.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 29th at Christ United Methodist Church located at 909 E. Main Street, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. The viewing will begin at 10:00AM with service at 11:00AM. Graveside service immediately following the funeral at Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville, IN.
