William Donald Ashbaugh of Crawfordsville died Wednesday in his home. He was 81.
His career in sales was followed by the ownership of Leisure Ltd., an athletic shoe store in Crawfordsville for 15 years. He served in the Air Force in Korea.
His memberships included Delta Sigma Pi, Shoe Traveler's Association and St. John's Episcopal Church. He graduated with a business degree from Northwestern University.
He was born Sept. 15, 1930, at Grand Rapids, Mich., to Meridan and Louise (Glick) Ashbaugh. He married Adrienne Cyr. She survives.
Other survivors include: son Joseph; daughter Louise (Marc); brother Albert; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Episcopal Church, with Father Bill Wieland officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Columbarium. Hunt & Son Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
