Obituary
William Russell Riddell, 84, of Crawfordsville died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at home.
Mr. Riddell retired in 1995 from RR Donnelley after 46 1/2 years. He served in the Army and was a retired minister.
He was a graduate of Alamo High School and Purdue University.
He was born Oct. 16, 1930, at Russellville, to Donald C. and Olive M. Seybold Riddell. He married Patricia Ann Bass (Chilcote) on April 15, 2000 at Hillsboro. She survives.
Additional survivors include: daughters, Sandi (Dick) Wilcox of Sagel, Idaho, and Peggy Turner of Indiana; step-son Joe (Stephanie) Bass of Crawfordsville; step-daughter Debra (Stephen) Wright of Russellville; brother Larry (Nancy) Riddell of Crawfordsville; sisters, Janet Keedy of Crawfordsville, Judy (Ralph) Carter of Panama City, Fla., and Marybeth Riddell of Crawfordsville; two grandsons Russell and Nick; step-granddaughters, Arianna Wright, Brooklynn Shoffstall and Falicia Bass; and step-grandsons, Carter Crockett and Blake Bass.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Lawler officiating. Burial will be at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call noon to 2 p.m. Monday.
