Obituary
William G. Weliver, 78, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at Williamsburg Health Care.
He was born March 14, 1930 in Crawfordsville to Otis Weliver and Catherine (Murphy) Weliver.
He attended St. Bernard's Elementary and Crawfordsville High School. He married Rita Myers Dec. 16, 1952. She survives. Weliver was retired from the wholesale beverage business. He was in the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, the Eagles, Moose Lodge, VFW and American Legion.
Besides his wife, survivors include sons, Brad (Fatima) Weliver of Plano, Texas and Mike (Susie) Weliver of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren;and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steve; and sister, Bonnie Darqevice
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery with Father David Hellman officiating.
There will be no visitation. Cremation was chosen.
