Wilma J. Cooley, 86, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Sunday at her son's residence.

Mrs. Cooley was born Oct. 19, 1921 in Clinton County to Harry L. and Agnes I. (McKee) Geiger.

She married Martin L. Cooley. She was a homemaker. She served as a 4-H leader for many years.

She is survived by her sons, William (Sheila) Cooley of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Charles (Cathy) Cooley of Crawfordsville; daughters, Bonnie (Paul) Gifford of Germantown, Ohio, and Frances (Robert) Peters of Portland, Ore.; sister, Ellen Harshman of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Amanda Brown, David Gifford, Mindy Payne, Marcy Kirk-Jones, Misty Cooley, Candy Knoy, Christopher Cooley, Carolyn Wyatt and Angela Peters; and 11 great-grandchildren, Ross and Emily Brown, Zachery and Seth Payne, Ryan Kirk, Bryce Cooley, Caleb and Mikayla Knoy, Kendra and Aailiyah Wyatt, Cameron Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Elizabeth Allen and Ruth Geiger; and great-grandson, Seth Owen Cooley.

Graveside funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon with Pastor Daniel Matthews officiating.

Friends and family can pay their respects from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
