Winnogene F. "Jean" Greve, 92, Crawfordsville,
passed away Saturday at Williamsburg
Healthcare.
She was born May 28, 1920, in Russellville,
to Paul V. and Ethel (Friend) Hester. She married
Leonard H. Greve on
Nov. 7, 1939. He preceded
her in death in 1991.
She was a homemaker
and did bookkeeping for
International Harvester. Her
memberships included Russellville
Community Church,
the Ladies Golf Association
of Crawfordsville and the Rockville Ladies Golf
Association. She was an avid golfer and
enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include: daughter Suzann (Jay)
Whiteley of Crawfordsville; granddaughter Jennifer
(Drew) Kirts of Crawfordsville; greatgrandchildren,
Ashley, Rebekah and Sophia;
and one great-great-grandchild, Miles.
She is preceded in death by sister Wilma
"Shorty" Haines in 1998.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m.
Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with
Pastor Kathi Elliott officiating. Burial will follow
at Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Avenue. Friends
may call noon until 2 p.m. Thursday at the
funeral home.
