Wynona "Onie" M. Hunley, 84, of Crawfordsville passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation, Crawfordsville.

She was born on Sept. 10, 1935, at home in Ripley Township, Montgomery County, to Freeman and Leona (Krout) Allen. She married Randel "Rex" Hunley on Sept. 22, 1951, who preceded her in death in 2017. She retired form RR Donnelley & Sons after many years and was then employed part-time by Fujicolor Processing.

She enjoyed crocheting, mushroom hunting and watching her family play softball. She was known as a great cook and her peanut brittle was loved by many. She was also an avid bingo player and member of the Crawfordsville Women of the Moose.

She is survived by sons, John (Marlene) Hunley, Waveland, and Mike (Genia) Hunley, Ladoga; daughter Missy (Randy) Caldwell, Crawfordsville; sister Mary Brady, Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rex; daughter Marilyn Utz; brother Carl Allen; and sisters, Jean Gleason, Grace Swank, Berniece Williams and Marge Fairfield.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., Crawfordsville. Burial will follow at Oak Hill South Cemetery.
