Zachary "Zach" R. Minchin,
19, Crawfordsville, died Saturday.
Minchin
had just
completed
his freshman
year
at Vinc
e n n e s
University
and had
planned to
start at Ivy Tech this fall to
study law enforcement.
He attended Linden United
Methodist Church. He was a
2009 North Montgomery
graduate. In high school he
was active in track, pole vaulting
and tennis.
He was born Jan. 23, 1991,
in York, Pa., to Warren
Minchin, Jr. and Caroline
Smith.
Survivors include mother
and step father Caroline and
Dennis Erdahl, of Crawfordsville;
sister Hannah
Minchin, of Crawfordsville; half
sister Tara Salski, of Allentown,
Pa.; and stepsisters
Heather Keedy, of Indianapolis,
and Kimberly Smith, of
Tampa, Fla.
He is preceded in death by
his father.

Funeral services are scheduled
for 10 a.m. Thursday at
Linden United Methodist
Church with Revs. Patty
French and Lamont Bonath
officiating. Burial will be at Oak
Hill Cemetery North. Friends
may call 5-8 p.m.Wednesday
at the church.
